    Fluoxetine is commonly prescribed as a treatment for those suffering from bulimia, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and even for those who suffer from extreme cases of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PDD).

    Fluoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), has been proven to be effective treatment for depression, anxiety, panic attacks and major depressive disorders. Serotonin is neurotransmitter that is primarily responsible for the regulation of several elements of everyday life (including learning mood, memory, rewards and sleep).
