Zoloft is an anti-depressant that can be used to treat a number of disorders, including depression, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive, social anxiety, post-traumatic stress and extreme cases of premenstrual syndrome known as premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PDD).

Zoloft has proven an effective treatment capable of improving the amount and quality of the users sleep, increasing appetite and improving outlook and attitude towards daily life. Other benefits users of Zoloft can expect include being less fearful, lower levels of anxiety, a decrease in unwanted thoughts, fewer panic attacks and a reduction in the frequency and intensity of compulsions. In addition, Zoloft is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), capable of restoring serotonin levels in the brain. Serotonin is neurotransmitter that is primarily responsible for the regulation of several elements of everyday life (including learning mood, memory, rewards and sleep).
