Black Cohosh is a naturally occurring herb that is used in conjunction with Vitamin E to treat the symptoms of menopause and perimenopause, which can include hot flushes, mood swings, dryness of the dryness and profuse sweating.

A part of the buttercup family, Black Cohosh has been used for centuries by several Native American tribes to treat the symptoms of menopause, ease childbirth and various menstrual issues. A study among menopausal women revealed that using the herb resulted in a 26% reduction of night sweats and hot flashes.  Black Cohosh is also used as a dietary supplement for other conditions, including menstrual cramps and premenstrual syndrome, and to induce labor.
