Strattera is a medication that is often used to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as part of a 360-degree treatment plan that also includes social, psychological and other treatments and therapies.
Strattera, a quick release drug that gets to work almost immediately after being taken, is known to improve the user’s ability concentrate, attention span, focus, decreases hyperactivity, reduces impulsive behavior and reduces fidgeting by restoring the natural balance of substances in the brain (commonly known as neurotransmitters). Even though Strattera is classed as a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, (SNRI) and many other medications classed as SNRIs are effective in treating depression, it should not be used to treat depression or anxiety as tests have proven that it is only effective in treating the symptoms associated with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD.)
